DOG HEAVEN TREATS was formed when I first started baking dog treats for my dogs, Buster & Trixie, using ingredients from my own kitchen, some organic, some all-natural. I discovered that Buster & Trixie seemed to enjoy these home-made treats much better. In fact, most store-bought treats went uneaten by Trixie (Miss Picky Eater). No wonder! After researching commercially-made dog treat ingredients, I was shocked and thought, "I wouldn't eat them either!" Most are loaded with chemicals & preservatives; ingredients that I could not even pronounce! I discovered that many pet parents shared the same concerns and also wanted a healthier alternative to store-bought treats. So with the urging of family & friends, and after prayerful consideration, DOG HEAVEN TREATS was born!
You probably noticed the slogan....
"Husband Tested & Dog Approved"!
My daughter, Samantha, jokingly provided the slogan, which has stuck, as it is so true! As I experimented with recipes, my husband Steve (me, too!), taste tested each treat for flavor before feeding them to Buster & Trixie. When the treat finally passed the "Trixie test", we knew we had a winner!
My hope is that your dogs enjoy DOG HEAVEN TREATS as much as Buster & Trixie! Our newest addition, Happy Girl loves them too!
